Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) Rohtak
Indian Institute of Management Rohtak is the IIM established by the Ministry of Education, Government of India-wide IIM Act 2017 which offers a five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPMAT Rohtak). IIM Rohtak has been ranked amongst the top five IIMs in research. The institute offers a dynamic environment for high-quality research in all functional areas of management that will benefit various segments of the business and society.
It offers a five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for students after class XII who aim to pursue their career in Business Management. It is a comprehensive management program that has a combined course of management studies from undergraduate (UG) to postgraduate (PG). The programme aims at moulding outstanding young students into managers and leaders. Upon completing the academic rigour of 5 years, the participant will be awarded an Integrated Programme in Management (BBA+MBA) by IIM Rohtak. The students will have to maintain a minimum CGPA of 5 at the end of the third year to be eligible for the last two years of the program to earn a master’s degree. Students below 5.0, but not less than 4 CGPA will be awarded a BBA degree and will exit the program. Also, if any student voluntarily intends to exit the program after completing the programme requirement at the end of 3 years, he/she will be awarded a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) upon notifying the office about the exit within the stipulated time in the third year of the Programme.
Overall, the program consists of 15 terms spread over 5 years. A year has three terms, each of approximately 3 months duration. The entire programme is divided into two parts; the first part focuses on the foundation courses, whereas the second part focuses on management. Students will be undergoing internships at the end of every academic year.
Eligibility Criteria for IPMAT Rohtak:
Candidates must satisfy the following criteria to apply for this programme.
- General, NC-OBC and EWS Category: Minimum 60% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as of June 30.
- SC, ST and PWD (DAP) Category: Minimum 55% in standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent examinations, Maximum 20 years of age as of June 30.
Note 1: Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of June 2024 can also apply, subject to meeting the minimum eligibility criteria after the declaration of results (only in the case of the XIIth standard) as mentioned above. If selected, such candidates will be offered admission to the programme provisionally. At the time of registration for the programme, such candidates must produce X and XII standard mark sheets (securing minimum marks, i.e. 60% for General, EWS, and NC-OBC or 55% for SC, ST, and PWD) along with school leaving certificate/migration certificate, failing which the candidate’s admission offer stands cancelled.
Note 2: The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of the best five subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulation. In case the candidates are awarded letter grades or grade points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to the percentage of marks of the best five subjects would be based on the procedure certified by the Board/ Competent Authority explaining the method of conversion from where they have obtained the certificate.
Selection Procedure of IPMAT Rohtak:
Stage 1: Online Registration for IPMAT Rohtak
- The application form submission window typically opens between February and April each year.
- Interested applicants who fulfil the above-mentioned eligibility criteria will fill out the registration form that aims at evaluating the applicant’s proficiency in academics as well as in extra-curricular activities.
- The eligible applicants will pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 4500/- (Four thousand five hundred Only)
- Applicants can download their admit cards after successful registration.
Stage II: IPM Aptitude Test (IPMAT Rohtak)
(i) All the interested applicants will undergo IIM Rohtak’s IPM Aptitude Test which will examine the aptitude, logical reasoning, and proficiency in English of the applicant
(ii) IPM AT 2024 to be conducted on May 18, 2024, from 9:00 AM onwards
(iii) The IPM Aptitude Test will comprise of following sections:

Note: Each question will carry 4 marks. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. All the questions will be multiple-choice questions.
(iv) In case the candidate also selects the Integrated Programme in Law (IPL) option while registering for IPM AT 2024, such candidates will also appear for the fourth section as follows:

Stage III: Online Personal Interview (PI)
(i) The shortlisted applicants will be called for a Personal Interview based on minimum eligibility criteria and IPM AT Score 2024.
(ii) The announcement of the Call for Personal Interviews (PI) will be done in the First Week of June 2024 (Tentative).
(iii) The candidates during their interviews will be judged based on their academics, general awareness, and communication skills.
(iv) The interviews are proposed to be held in the Second Week of June 2024 (Tentative)
Stage IV: Announcement of Selection List and Offer Acceptance
(i) The Final Merit List will be generated based on the composite score of IPMAT, Past Academics, and Personal Interview.
(ii) The institute will tentatively announce the merit list by the first week of July. The offer of admission to the candidate will be made strictly based on merit/ rank list and availability of seats in each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST & DAP) as per reservation rules of Govt. of India.
Stage V: Provisional Admission to IIM Rohtak
(i) All selected candidates will receive a provisional offer letter for admission from ipmadmission@iimrohtak.ac.in on their registered email ID shortly after the merit list declaration. A candidate receiving an admission offer from IIM Rohtak (IIM-R) and accepting the offer within the stipulated date needs to deposit the Offer Acceptance Amount (OAA) as mentioned in the Offer Letter through the institute’s admission portal only. An automated receipt and a text message of the transaction will be shared by the associated bank on the registered email ID/ mobile no. of the candidate.
(ii) On acceptance of the admission offer and payment of OAA, the candidate will receive his/her confirmation letter for provisional admission to IPM on his/her registered email ID. The paid OAA will be adjusted with the First Year Programme Fee. Such candidates will be required to pay the 1st instalment of the First Year Programme Fee (as mentioned in the confirmation letter) through the institute’s admission portal only. If a candidate fails to pay the 1st instalment of First Year Programme Fees by the stipulated date mentioned in the admission confirmation letter, the seat will be cancelled.

Stage VI: Reporting for joining the IPM
(i) Final selected candidates who have deposited OAA and got a confirmation letter for provisional admission will be required to report physically (on the stipulated date and time) on the Institute campus for registration, followed by physical verification of educational documents and other testimonials as per checklist (in case of online registration, the documents will be verified virtually).
(ii) The academic session will tentatively begin in the first week of August.
(iii) The hostel room allocation to the candidate will be done on a sharing basis. Hostel rooms for the DAP category candidates will be arranged on the ground floor.

(i) The admission criteria for IPMAT Rohtak may be changed before the declaration of the results
Total no. of seats:
The total no. of seats in IPMAT Rohtak will be 165 (including 10% of the total seats will be offered to EWS (Economically Weaker Section) candidates). The offer of admission to the candidate will be made strictly based on merit/rank list and availability of seats in each category (Gen, SC, ST, NC-OBC, EWS & DAP) as per reservation rules of Govt. of India.
Registration for IPM Programme:
Final shortlisted candidates who have deposited the Offer Acceptance Amount and got a confirmation letter for provisional admission will be required to report to the campus for the registration process followed by physical verification of educational documents and other testimonials as per the checklist.
